Classifed as a medium temperature application, it is rare to heat air to more than 650°C for use in a process. The primary use of this air would be for drying materials. The temperature sensitivity of the product is the first consideration when selecting a burner system together with the acceptabilty of products of combustion entering into the process air stream. If the latter is not permitted, then an indirect system would have to be employed.
The Combustion Group have designed and built many air heating systems (including the Air Heaters themselves) for a wide range of applications requiring heated process air. High efficiency Duct Burners are just one of the items in their portfolio which can be considered for a particular application. Each and every client's project is studied carefully and the best system offered based on the various process parameters which have to be satisfied.
As with all systems offered by The Combustion Group, safety is never compomised. The client is strongly commended to follow one of the Internatioal Codes of Practice with regard to installing the correct burner safety equipment. |
